JOHN (JACK) BURTON After a lengthy illness, Jack passed away at home surrounded by his family. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Jean; children, Robert (Gail), Don (Beverly), Debbie (John), Chris (Carol) 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Minnie (Nat). Jack served overseas in the Second World War, where he met and married Jean. He was employed by Canada Post and retired in 1989. Viewing will be held Thursday, June 13 from 7:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m., also at the chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jacks six grandsons. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Heart or Lung Associations or charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
